A personal exercise in sequence editing, exploring the relationship between space and time.

Afterword

Inspired by works like Chris Marker's La Jetée and the writings found within John Berger's "Ways of Seeing", this 100 image piece attempts to capitalize on both montage and the "gutter" effect that image mediums create. The pacing between images, the passage of time, and the splicing of imagery create a conceptually interactive environment for the viewer to work in. Watching pieces like this forces one to make assumptions and think of connections that the original creator may never have concieved themselves. This work in particular uses the continous motion of post-its appearing and breaks up the sequence with overarching image themes, in order to imply different elements into the "story".
